The Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame is presenting their second annual "Celebration of Speed" on Monday, August 11th with a track day for experienced drivers and a ride-along program for enthusiasts at Mosport International Raceway. Both race cars and street cars are welcome. The cost is $375.00 per entrant payable to the CAC/Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame. All proceeds from the track day go to the Canadian Motorsport Heritage Group, Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame.
Many current and former drivers from the Rothmans Porsche Cup series, the ALMS, Indy Racing League, Grand Am Cup and Trans Am will be there to provide advice or swap tales of their racing exploits, and who knows, maybe ride along with you for a lap or two!! Or better yet, take you for a ride. Enthusiasts are very welcome to join us and are encouraged to go along for a "ride" with some very well known racers in some very exciting automobiles!! Ride-along tickets will be available at the track for a nominal donation of $25 per ride or $60 for 3 outings.
Charitable receipts will be available for both the lapping entrants and the ride-along program.
