CMHF Welcomes Greg MacPherson

TORONTO, ON – The Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame is excited to welcome Greg MacPherson as a new board member.

MacPherson is known for his role as editor of Inside Track Motorsport News, a Canadian racing magazine that bills itself as “The Official Publication of Canadian Motorsport.” The magazine is published several times a year and includes features, profiles, commentaries, historical pieces, news and analysis.

MacPherson was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, before spending his early years in Florida and later moving with his family to Toronto in 1977. Now 52-years-old, Greg lives in Toronto with his wife Melody and their 16-year-old daughter Hayley.

After graduating from the University of Toronto, MacPherson served as assistant editor at Performance Racing News from 1990 to 1997, when he and three others left to start Inside Track Communications.

In addition to Inside Track Motorsport News, Inside Track Communications produces Inside Motorcycles, several event and series programs and holds the annual Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo, which is Canada’s biggest indoor show featuring enthusiast vehicles and motorsports.

MacPherson will join a group of board members led by chair Dr. Hugh Scully.

The Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame was created in 1993 to honour and recognize the efforts, achievements and contributions that Canadians have made in the realm of Canadian Motorsports. This year’s induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, February 15th at the Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.
