The Celebration of Speed is an annual fundraiser produced by the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame that offers the public an exciting combination of a passenger ride-along and track-day driver experiences. The event is held at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) in Clarington, Ontario. In June 2024, a second Celebration of Speed Ride-Along Day will take place at the ICAR Complex in Mirabel, Quebec.

Enthusiasts and the general public aged 10 and older, can experience the “ride of their life” in exceptional cars with experienced race car drivers. The Ontario event at CTMP only, will also provide the opportunity for up to 50 track day participants to enjoy a day of high-speed action piloting their own cars on track. The Celebration of Speed is not a timed speed event or contest of speed. Our Ride-Along drivers and Track Day participants are instructed to drive well within the limits of their cars and individual skill levels.

All proceeds from the event support the Canadian Motorsport Heritage Foundation, a charitable organization founded in 1993 that operates the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame (CMHF), which honours individuals and organizations for their notable achievements and significant contributions to Canadian motorsport.

The Celebration of Speed is a fundraiser for the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame that will be held rain or shine. In the case of Ride-Along ticket holders who have two or more unused sessions on their ticket, pro rata refunds will be available in the event that the organizers have to curtail track activity due to severe weather. Partial Refunds for Track Day Drivers will be offered in the event that less than 50% of the 9 am to 5 pm track time allotted for Track Day drivers cannot be provided due to severe -weather conditions.

A FEW THINGS TO NOTE
