Driving for one of the most decorated teams in Quebec, David Hébert has racked up over two dozen championships and countless feature wins in dirt racing. Hébert started out in DIRT Sportsman competition in 1994, before shifting to DIRT Modifieds two years later. He joined the ONE Racing team in 1999, where he’s been their primary driver through the 2025 season.

Hébert has raced locally at multiple Quebec tracks, recording 21 358-Modifieds track championships across three facilities, with nine Autodrome Granby titles, seven Autodrome Drummond titles, and five RPM Speedway championships. He’s tallied more than 200 feature wins, most recently capping off his ONE Racing career with seven feature wins, overall, and finishing runner-up in the standings at Autodrome Granby in 2025.

Hébert has regional success in dirt racing across Ontario, Quebec and the northeastern U.S. He won three championships in the Canadian Confrontation series for 358-Modifieds between 2006 and 2009, he’s a four-time Mr. DIRTcar 358-Modified champion, and he won the 2023 Canadian Big Block Series title. He recorded a top-five finish in the Big Block Modified feature at the 2007 Super DIRT Week in Syracuse, NY and started outside pole for that event in 2012. He also became the first Quebec driver to win a feature in the Short Track Super Series in 2024.

Hébert has stock car experience too, with multiple CASCAR starts between 1999 and 2001 and a pair of NASCAR Canada Series starts at Ohsweken Speedway in 2023. Outside of the driver’s seat, he’s a member of the Modified drivers committee for Quebec dirt tracks and has increased his involvement at the shop, taking over responsibility for car setups at ONE Racing in 2023. He’s also extending his efforts to help out his daughter Daphnée, who races in a DIRT Sportsman.
