His career spans more than four decades and reflects sustained excellence, technical innovation, and deep commitment to the sport’s growth in Canada.

Introduced to racing by his father, Dave, Lynch began karting at age 10, winning multiple championships in Ontario and Quebec. He transitioned to stock cars at 14, earning Rookie of the Year and a track championship at Peterborough Speedway, and at 17 claimed victory in the McKerlie Millen Classic at Cayuga. During the 1990s, he competed in the ACT Late Model series, capturing the 1994 Western and overall regional championship, and that same year won the prestigious Oxford 250. He also raced in NASCAR’s Busch North Series and later built championship-winning cars as a chassis fabricator for leading NASCAR organizations including Bobby Allison Motorsports, Darrell Waltrip Motorsports, Stavola Brothers Racing, and Dale Earnhardt Inc.

From 2003 to 2012, Lynch and his wife, Cait managed and promoted Kawartha Speedway, elevating it to one of Canada’s premier short tracks. He also earned a victory in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series and has played an important mentorship role for emerging drivers. Now living in Warkworth, Ontario, with Cait and their daughter Lila, Lynch continues to serve as a dedicated ambassador for Canadian motorsport.
