Inducted 2020 – Competitor – Builder

A second-generation racer from Brantford, Ontario, Alex Nagy enjoyed incredible success racing stock cars around southern Ontario before joining Canada’s national stock car championship, the CASCAR Super Series.  Nagy was a series front-runner for over a decade, winning nine features and the biggest single-race payday in CASCAR’s history, at a race in New Brunswick.

Following a five-year stint as the Series Director of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series, Nagy accepted the role as General Manager of the new Jukasa Motor Speedway, south of Hamilton, Ontario.  The track — now one of the top short tracks in North America — came about following a massive construction project on the site of the dormant Cayuga Motor Speedway, which was overseen by Nagy.
