LINDSAY RIDDELL

Lindsay Riddell is a telecommunications entrepreneur, motorsport competitor, and business leader. He spent more than two decades in the telecom sector as Founder and President of Luminet Solutions, later continuing in business development leadership with Ited Solutions before transitioning into independent consulting.
His motorsport career began in karting, where he won the 1980 Canadian National Championship, the 1981 Canadian and Quebec Championships, and the North American Race of Champions. He went on to compete in Formula Ford, the Honda Michelin Series — where he became National Champion in 1984 and series and Quebec champion in 1986 — the Player’s Challenge Series, and in endurance competition in the Firestone Firehawk and Motorola Cup, earning race wins, podiums, and multiple top-ten finishes across three-hour, twelve-hour, and twenty-four-hour events. He returned to karting in 2023 and remains active in the sport.
Lindsay joined the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame Board in 2023 and serves as the organizer of the Hall’s Celebration of Speed, a flagship CMHF track-day and fundraising event that brings inductees, supporters, corporate partners, and enthusiasts together on track while celebrating Canada’s motorsport heritage and supporting the Hall’s ongoing programs and initiatives.
