GREG MACPHERSON

BOARD MEMBER

Greg MacPherson is a Canadian motorsport media professional and board member of the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame. He is best known as the editor of Inside Track Motorsport News, a leading Canadian racing publication that identifies itself as “The Official Publication of Canadian Motorsport” and features in-depth profiles, commentary, historical coverage, news, and analysis.

A graduate of the University of Toronto, MacPherson began his career in motorsport journalism as Assistant Editor at Performance Racing News, where he worked from 1990 to 1997. He then co-founded Inside Track Communications, which publishes Inside Track Motorsport News and Inside Motorcycles, produces a wide range of event and series programs, and organizes the annual Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo — Canada’s largest indoor enthusiast vehicle and motorsports show.

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, MacPherson spent his early childhood in Florida before moving with his family to Toronto in 1977. He now lives in Toronto with his wife Melody and their daughter Hayley. He joined the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame Board of Directors in 2024, contributing decades of experience in motorsport media, publishing, and community engagement.
