Based in Blue Mountains, Ontario, Laurence Himel is a leader in the commercial real estate industry in Canada and President of Cityspace Real Estate Inc., a firm he founded in 2003, A recognized innovator in the commercial real estate sector, Laurence’s company has been instrumental in shaping tenant-focused real estate services in Ontario.
Laurence’s motorsport journey began in 1990 with training at the Spenard-David Formula 2000 Racing School which led to participation in various advanced racing programs. His racing career includes competing in regional races and professional series like the Honda Michelin Series, Firestone Firehawk Endurance Series, and the Canadian Endurance Road Racing Championship. Laurence has earned an ASN Canada FIA National Professional Competition License.
Laurence is a longtime supporter of the CHMF’s mission and has also been a driver in the CMHF Celebration of Speed since 2017. His efforts in organizing fundraising initiatives for CMHF in 2020 have been invaluable. Laurence’s unique perspective and experience contribute to the growth and success of the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame.
Laurence joined the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame Board in 2023. In addition to serving on various committees, he oversees the operation of the CMHF online store.
