Scott Samuel is an attorney, senior executive, corporate advisor, and board member with more than three decades of experience in investment banking, entrepreneurship and governance. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame since 2022 and is a lifelong motorsport enthusiast. Scott is currently Managing Partner at C20 Advisory Inc., where he advises corporate clients on strategy, access to capital markets, and maximizing value in succession or exit planning. He is also Founder and Chief Executive Officer of C15 Solutions Inc., a high-growth technology company delivering Quality Management Systems to the global natural health sectors.
Scott’s career includes senior leadership roles across finance, advisory, and operations. He served as Interim Chief Financial Officer at Wasteco, leading a successful turnaround that moved the company from break-even to a sale. He was previously Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Skura Corporation, where he secured investment funding, was CFO and then COO, and helped guide the company through two successful exits. He has also held senior roles in investment banking and corporate finance with Midland Walyn, ABN AMRO, CT Securities, Gordon Capital, PWC, and his own firm Investor Based Finance Group – advising on major transactions, capital raises, and mergers and acquisitions.
Scott holds a Chartered Directors Degree ( Mcmaster) joint MBA and Juris Doctor (J.D.) from York University and Osgoode Hall Law School, as well as a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation. He was called to the Bar in Ontario and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) from Concordia University.
